Le Cognac Perlé

Le Cognac Perlé is a collaborative project that I led during my studies along with a team of 10 designers for the Cognac house Rémy Martin. Rémy Martin came to us with a prospective question in mind: what would the world of cognac look like in 10 years time? Draw it without a glass. We were asked to create a story of the product's complete life cycle once it leaves the casks. Le Cognac Perlé brings a new way of consuming top-of-the-range cognac through a sustainable approach, in a world that needs to evolve. Contained in a melt-in-the-mouth seaweed membrane, the change in texture does not interfere with normal consumption. The membrane allows consumers to drink it neat by hand or in a glass. We also redesigned the entire packaging, proposing a change of universe, more contemporary, closer to the trends that catch the eye of millennials.
